KLC Announces Environmentally Sensitive Heat Seal Labels

SAN DIEGO, January 13, 2010 /Newswire/ -- Kieran Label Corp (KLC) announced the immediate availability of busan-free heat seal labels. Targeted to the needs of environmentally conscious consumer product manufacturers, KLC's solution enables the production of busan-free heat seal labels in a variety of die-sizes, colors and graphic formats.

As a vertically integrated label converter, KLC has capabilities that are unique to the Western United States. In constructing labels materials, KLC synthesizes silicone and nitrogen with adhesive.

Working with Bostik, a global leader in the adhesives industry, KLC has perfected incorporation of busan-free adhesive with high-gloss and semi gloss paper materials suitable for pressure sensitive applications. These applications support a variety of flexographic printing processes up to 6 colors using KLC's in-house wide-format presses and up to 8 colors on narrow web presses.

KLC's ability to integrate the production of environmentally sensitive heat-seal material with die-cutting, printing and rewinding processes will also generate significant savings for customers. In addition, KLC's onsite R&D capabilities dramatically reduce lead times for the consumer product manufacturers who require these specialty labels.
